Scarring

Skin that’s healed… but not quite evenly.
Rebuilding strength, smoothing texture, and improving confidence in your skin again.

Introducing Scarring

Scarring is often left behind after the skin has gone through inflammation or trauma – most commonly from acne, but also from injury or previous treatments.

While the skin has technically “healed”, it hasn’t repaired itself evenly, leaving behind changes in texture that can be difficult to treat with skincare alone.

This is because scarring sits deeper within the skin’s structure.

At Rediscovered Skin Clinic, we focus on stimulating collagen and encouraging the skin to rebuild itself more evenly over time – improving texture, strength, and overall skin quality.

What are the causes?

Targeted treatments that protect and preserve your natural beauty.

Inflammation (such as acne)

Disrupts the normal healing process, leading to uneven skin repair.

Delayed or impaired healing

Skin doesn’t regenerate evenly, resulting in dips or irregular texture.

Collagen loss or damage

Reduces the skin’s ability to repair itself smoothly.

FAQs

Can scarring be completely removed?

Scars cannot be completely erased, but they can be significantly improved with the right treatment plan.

This is a gradual process. Improvements are typically seen over a course of treatments and continue over several months.

Treatments are generally well tolerated, and numbing is used where appropriate to keep you comfortable.

Most clients require a course of treatments, depending on the depth and type of scarring.
